Are you planning on visiting New Jersey? That is an excellent choice. The place has so much to offer and has so many interesting places that you can visit. First of all, the state is so rich in history that there are so many historical destinations that you can check out. Then there are the festivals and fairs that you can attend. It would be a great idea to time your visit so you can attend one of those festivals.
So you will have some clue on what events and festivals are worth attending, we have made a list of some of them here:
Warren County Fair- If you have never been to an old fashioned fair then this is the perfect place to start. For over seventy years, this fair has provided people with old style attractions. The prices that you can find there are very much what you would expect from an old fashioned fair. They also have more modern attractions like a hot air balloon festival and demolition derbies. This fair is usually held in July of each year.
Cowtown Flea Market- Want to check out an old fashioned flea market where you can get great bargains? Then the Cowtown Flea Market should be one of the attractions that you ought to visit in New Jersey. It is held in Pilesgrove, NJ every Tuesday and Saturday. Vendors in the market sell locally made and grown products.
Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival- There is nothing like listening to great music while drinking great beer. That is exactly what you can get in the Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival. This annual event brings together the great beer makers and they showcase their best products. They also invite a couple of great musical performers to help make things livelier. This two day session has been going on for seven years now. It will be held in the Atlantic City Convention Center on April 5th and 6th.2013.
Bamboozle- The event that started out as the Great Bambbozle is a music festival held in Asbury Park. It features pop punk and hard rock acts performing onstage for a couple of days. It has been one of New Jersey’s main festivals. Unfortunately Bamboozle ’13 is not going to be held in its home Asbury Park. It has been confirmed by city officials and organizers of the event that it would not go back there. Hopefully, they would still, do it in New Jersey.
